Plastic was removed, water was changed at 3-4 days, betta died after 1 year.

+udumans Toxic Ammonia build up with no filter is what is wrong with bowls. 2.5 gallon is the minimum for a healthy betta. They also need filtration and heat. They are tropical fish. Please do some more research on Betta Fish.
