Great vid man, and some top pointers too! I'm with ya especially with the outboard, like a biker mate of mine once said, outboards are like a motorbike you'll always be looking for more power and upgrading. Mate if you get around to it, wouldn't mind seeing your video on how you tune in your elite 7HDI. Did you install yourself as well?

Hi mate I love all your vids..I've got the same boat as you I've noticed 4.75 cuddy cab there awesome boats. I've got a 09 Yamaha 115 and it absolutely flys...I love your winch that's one mod I need..according to your vid we fish similar spots so hope to see you out this season on the water... But if I could ask one question about sounding I've got a Garmin echo map 55 combo and it's taking me ages to learn how to use the finder properly. Any tips would be good..cheers

Commodore I can send u some squid spots .. snapper I normally sound up the fish then anchor but some spots , off rickets ponit in shallow about 7 metres sunset , sunrise on western side of the reef , just after a big blow from late October to early November is the best time for big snapper in that area . gasso is good in that time as well.. you get pinks year round at rickets to half moon bay , the odd big snapper year round , but from September to December are best times times big to school fish , 2-3kg fish you stand good to average chance of a fish. Just south of the sub 500mm from half moon in about 7 metres on the edge of the reef .. after a big blow around October 15 to November 5. in shallow Southen side Mordy pier in about ten metres after a blow ,when the waters dirty you can guarantee 99 percent in shallow from 5 metres to 10 metres ... Unless it's early or late season then they could still be coming in the bay so you tend to find them scatted around the bay ... Hard to explain in depth , it's all about timing with snapper , certain times of the year they be in various Areas ....if you ever caught a big snapper , go back to the same area at the same time of year .. um gar , haven't really fished for them in awhile , when I use to live at Parkdale , I use to catch them between Mordy pier and ricketts , and land based from the bemauis squadron club pier in the early morning squid are there to .. I won't be down that way till the snapper are down there so video might have to wait a while ..

, i use to fish the whole east side of the bay , but these days im contend with little to medium squid, so i fish from frankston to mornington & mornington to Mt Martha . many reef patches in those area, if after a big blow and the waters dirty i will push up to mt Martha ,timing is important ruinin tide 2 hours ether side .... if you want big squid go to Wp or bottom of the bay ... other good place's for squid is from mordy to half moon bay ... cheers

the elite chirp ? yea look for the auto setting and adjust up down , + & - some days depending on the returns i boost some days i dont hard to explain .. but the default setting on chirp work great to ... snapper returns are big , christamas trees are huge like 4 meters wide & at least 3 meters high , if you drive a few meters of to the side you miss them dont rush an area's , .. last few season have taken hours to find them .. dont confuse them with bait blobs , but you can find bait blobs with snapper hanging out them .. early season u may find stray arches but there migrating into the bay so there moving , by the time u anchor they could be gone .. no quick fix just taKes time to work out , you get there .. i might make a movie in oct/nov when there few around ... also dont just look for snapper , look for scollop beads all the time they may not be reds there at the time , but there will be .. fish shallow after big blow , shallow reef's up ricketts are mint in oct ..

thanks mate appreciate it , i think i got them at tackle world ( cranbourne )but it was along time ago , think they were around 295 for the pair the outboard is 90hp gets about 73k on the water ..

hi mate look forward to making longer video , i edit with adobe Premiere & Music with Ableton live... yes i had a electric motor some time ago , when use fish lures alot they are really good even got me in once when my motor broke down..
