Your line went slack at times when you were reeling it back in that's why you lost it I live in the area of the place in NC you're at and they're still some on the beds but most of the big ones are in post spawn but liked your videos it nice to see young people that love the outdoors and learning more

I grew up fishing ponds and would slay them. The last few months I have been fishing the large lake tournaments and I can honestly say it is a million times harder. More water to cover, so many places they can be. They are pressured so much more and see a ton of lures. It has made me appreciate ponds.

You can get a 12' used fairly cheap....3 to 400$ or new from $799.00 building the casting decks can be around $300 depending on materials. Stability is an issue on smaller jon boats....and balancing weight loads
