Rob (DeerMeat4Dinner) made a video about Kia and he explained that he got a call from a friend who found the baby otter (mother was deceased, had gotten eaten by a gator) and he said the man called him and asked if he and Sara (DeerMom) wanted to take on the responsibility and raise Kia. They immediately said yes and Sara began bottle feeding Kia and taking care of her. They said she would have died if she had been out there even one more day. Your story was a little different (not much) but regardless, I just wanted to say Rob and Sara are one of the best families on youtube and make awesome videos. They are such kind, caring, compassionate people with hearts of gold. It's so awesome that they took Kia home with them and are raising her. It just goes to show their amazing character... selflessly taking on the responsibility of caring for a wild animal when they have such busy lives already. She is amazingly smart and definitely knows to stick around because she knows where she gets fed and taken care of. I hope Rob and Sara decide to keep her. I just happened to find your channel because of Rob and Sara's video about Kia. I seen a otter video in my recommendations and clicked on it after thinking that it looked just like Kia. Sure enough, it was Kia and Sara but I am just wondering who you are? Maybe I am wrong but I do not recall seeing you in any of Rob's videos, and I have watched tons of his videos as well as Sara's. Are you a relative or just a friend of Rob and Sara's? Anyhow, it's always nice to see new videos and I love watching videos of Kia. Never knew that Otters were so smart or that they could be kept as pets. Hope to see more of her in future videos. I will watch a few more of your videos and check out your channel. Thanks for sharing this video of you helping to feed Kia with us.
