What a fantastic looking offshore boat! Baysport are a locally made Fibreglass boat, made by the same man up in Noosa for almost 30 years. Baysport are the biggest selling Fibreglass boat in Queensland for 7 years in a row!. These Baysports are seriously tough, hand laid Bi Axial woven fibreglass mesh, foam-filled fibreglassed stringer systems, and the top and bottom decks are totally fibreglassed together. There's never been a structural warranty on a Baysport. These are seriously well build boats. Any one of the biggest selling points - wood free transom means no rot! Small details compliment the build quality such as; quality stainless steel rails, SARCA Anchor and bow sprit, Large quality hatch, concealed stainless steel cleats, and more. The Sealink trailers are custom build for this hull and come with beautiful Alloy mags. Powered by a Yamaha F130HP 4-Stroke with Hydraulic Steering is a great match for this boat and pushing it along very well. This is due to Baysports unique Hydralift Hull, a concaved section down the middle of the hull which generates more lift ,increasing performance and efficiency. The Baysport hull is the slowest-speed planning hull out there - SUPER EFFICIENT! As this is a hardcore offshore fishing boat, there's a great big bait tank at the back as well as a massive cutting board, and a deckwash. Solid and rigid, the folding rear lounge will come in hand when needed and fold away when fishing with enough room to get your feet under. A bit further along the boat are huge side pockets, side storage for tackle, LED lights, an insulated esky, more storage compartments - one of which can be converted into a fresh water sink. Right up the front of the boat is a HUGE bunk you can sleep in the right way up! Some competitor boats require you to sleep with your feet at the bow, which means your feet are higher up than your head...which means a horrid nights sleep, if you get any sleep at all. Bolster sliding seats are comfortable and provide support when needed. Quality Garmin GPS/Fishfinder combo and Yamaha guages are top of the range. At the top, a folding stainless steel targa top with high quality custom trimming, done in our very own trim shop - not imported cheap trim work which doesn't last in Australian conditions. As you will see, the conditions out on the water are seriously rough, yet no match for the Baysport 600 Offshore. At full speed the Yamaha F130hp was only using 28L p/h which is nothing! A max speed of 60KM p/h in these conditions in very impressive. The large flares squirt the water out horizontally. The hull is quiet soft, in these conditions we were able to sit down and didn't need to utilize the bollard feature on the seats - try that in a standard hull!
