The last part of the video why why are you whispering? Not sure...are you embarrassed by the poor quality? But the audio level change is drastic....My advice, record 2 minutes of natural sound at the location, then when you are voice-overing away from the boat, add the nat sound "behind" your voice over, so that it sounds like you are on board...match levels...

Question...why call it a trawler? For me the word "trawler" has a certain professional fishing connotation, that is, of a working boat, I cannot see this hunk of junk fairing very well as a working ship, doing hauling and dealing with nets and tons of fish...no refrigeration on board, no fish processing facilities... what makes it a trawler?

That side door, what idiot thinks it is a good idea to just have 1 massive door?? Only morons...it should have been a 50/50 split with the top 1/2 a slide, so that the door can be closed with the top bit open for ventilation, and the bottom stopping water ingress...but no, idiots at Beneteau think water ingress is good for the boat...cheap cheap poor design, should be towed out to sea and sunk...

Not sure how much one of these goes for, but it is a hunk of junk, the quality of the design overall is poor, the workmanship substandard, and really it is only fit for sinking as an artificial reef.. as a live-aboard boat, it is not fit for purpose, The lack of power points, the design of the shower with that stupid tube just looping, really this is a £1000 boat. It is not a good quality boat at all....

It’s a beautiful boat. I think the plugs and USB charging hubs in the cabin should be closer to the headboard, as you’d need one heck of a long cord to charge and use your devices in bed? A little bangbus is nice before bed.

I Loved this typ of video, btw that yacht is awesome, i love all the simple solutions as the separate WC and shower, helmseat that turns and facing the tabel, the drapes around the dinner table so it become as Its own cabin and so and so on...

My second favorite boat. The Jeanneau NC 1095 Fly (Merry Fisher 1095 Fly) is nicer and a good bit less expensive. Smaller though but not by usable space.

@CharlesXavier Lots of folks sell boats in a year or less. I sold a 2018 in July to buy a 2019. Soon to sell it to try and score a 1095 or maybe a Swift Trawler if I decide to go that route. Kept my Caribe 11ft tender since my plans are solid and Caribe is hard to be.

@CharlesXavier The 11 does have some nice features built in but with just 2 cabins and 1 head it's obvious that the 1095 is a better use of space with 3 cabins and 1 head. I have never even seen a used 1095 for sale. People must really like them.

@John Smith 1095 is around £180k with good spec and tax I think. Swift trawler 30 is £280k good spec and tax. So yes its different but the models dont really compare, quality and ergonomics etc. Antares just released the 11. So that competes with the 1095.

John Smith the Merry fishers compete against the Antares anyway, price wise. I am a dealer for them yes. Most popular model is the 35. The 50 is impressive. They retail ~£1million. I have a 2016 one for sale and it is listed £535k. Shows how much the big boats depreciate.

the 1095 has only just brought out the fly version. so it is many leagues behind the Trawlers flybridge. also the 1095 has outboards only and is planing hull etc.

Am I the only one who is super critical about those arches on the sidedeck? How to bring a mooring line from the stern to the bow? I can't see the point. Ps.: ok, the arches are pretty far back on this paricular boat, but nevertheless, is there a structural need for those arches?

Have to wonder who's spending £625,000 in the UK on this instead of a fully planing Princess that's a few years old... and having some money left over for fuel. Boating in the UK isn't about plodding around in semi displacement mode to cover long distances. Its about finding a short weather window, loading the boat up with people, putting the hammer down to get from your home port to a decent hang out destination (an IOW pub for example), and then back again, in no more than a weekend. More usually in a day. The range of this thing is useless for the average boater. In the UK at least. And the build quality looks "meh".

As an IOW pub is about 650 nautical miles from my UK home berth, I would need that sort of range to get there. Don't have the £625,000 though.

Stayed on one of these for 4-5 days a couple of years ago (well the smaller 36) and it was fantastic. Rolls like a bugger when large wakes hit from the rear quarter but that's the nature of the hull. Great boats.

I really like the concept and layout on the Swift Trawlers, but I would never pay those figures for a boat that squeaky. I sure hope the production models are way better than that. My 30 year old boat is dead silent in comparison.

This is a really clever concept.
Instead of these quick walk throughs shows how a boat can actually be used in a leisure scenario.
Rolls around a bit and think a seakeeper would help a lot.
Great boat for the money and like the range of 800nM at 6 knots you could really travel around at your leisure on this boat and have a lot of fun
