I run separate lines on my prindle 19 as I like a larger sheet for hand feel and the smaller line seems to run better in the traveler

Do you shorten the standard forestay length then for the trick for the forestay double adjuster? Otherwise the mast would be too loose when the jib isn't tensioned as the extra length of the 2nd adjuster would allow the mast to lean too far back.

I have a furling jib. No separate forestay. Unfortunately that means that if something happens to my jib (wire), the mast will come down. - is there another setup for the furling Jib? this cannot be the best solution :)??

I feel flattered by the mentioning of the flick technique.

For jibs that have the forestay and the halyard in a pocket like the Tiger, it is convenient NOT to shackle in the jib at the bottom first. Then you can pull the end of the halyard further down, to comfortably undo the forerunner and weave in the jib tensioning purchase and then let down the jib again to fasten the neck.
It is way more comfortable than doing all this way over your head with just cms of room.
That frick was told me by our Joe frome my club at home (in this case short for "Joachim"). Listen to the Joes of the world...

Very useful, thank you!
BTW; I found it was just easier to simply get use to people pointing and laughing. Then I can concern myself with having fun.
