I've lived in South Florida for over 20 years and have been to the keys many times. You really need to go all the way down to Key West. You will love it. Eat at Boondocks great food.

When I was 15 and my brother was 13, we went snorkeling at that same state park, and it was beautiful! At least until my brother spotted a barracuda. They are attracted to shinny objects. My dad flipped out and make us quickly get out of the water.

You guys should go to Skippers dockside for dinner one of the nights they have many options if you don’t like seafood and it’s pretty good but if you sit outside on their patio it’s so pretty at night it’s worth going to the restaurant just for that and the boats are also docked right next to it

I went there beginning of the summer it was so pretty we stayed in a house on man groves and we saw manatees they were so cute the beaches weren’t the best but on our way back we topped in Panama City on my birthday it was great

Real estate in the Keys (Florida) is exorbitant!!! There are pelagics in the Keys but referance your outfitters and guides for family friendly areas!!! The culinary experience (seafood) is some of the best in the world!!!

I went there a few years ago & hated it. Nothing like I expected. There is no beaches, no swimming. Just corals & you have to either have your own boat or pay to go on someone else's. Not a lot to do there either a few museums & bars & I don't drink. Still I guess it did have a few nice views. First time I had ever went there & probably my last.
