Is it just me because I believe ghost rider and hulk would have joined forces with the fallen one. Cuz think about it thanos is worried about the fallen one so bad he get's his younger self to help out and in that time Frank would have came up with an idea to punish that eggplant. Then giving word out to hulk, now's our have a chance to make things right with them fighting young thanos when the time is right. But still Frank castle hoped up on rider and cosmic juice would do every thing possible to thanos in the beginning of charging at him and all.

Bear with me for a second other than Thanos being strong he's also highly intelligent, i believe he used his younger self as bait so he could kill the Fallen One faster rather than fighting him for possibly a million years. Basically they made it surfer becuase in the infinity gauntlet comics knocking surfer down into Dr strange sanctuary was one of the first things Thanos ever did. NoJusticeNoPeace yea thats exactly what I mean. I think in this time line pretty much every thing is used up and dead. Like how there's only a fragment of the infinity stones. So maybe nothing is really left but the hammer. But I would think surfer would have the control rod and a few other toys all combined. It's all just to rush into the end with literally everything dead but thanos. Which is a cool story and great to see but I want a whole comic based on what they've all been doing and not rushing.

+David Dubov It's more likely he'd absorb the Cosmic Control Rod. There's a lot of all-powerful items and forces floating around in Marvel which can be pulled out of a hat like that. In addition to the Captain Universe cosmic powers and the Phoenix force I mentioned, there's also stuff like the ruby of Cyttorak, the Faltine flames, the M'Kraan Crystal, the Ebony Blade, the Uranian power-bands, and the magician Siseneg. It would have been nice to see them all pulled out and used.

This has been a very enjoyable series for me. The first 12 issues were outstanding. It really gave me a different perspective of Thanos. I’m not a fan of time travel, it’s too easy if a fall back plan for writers but it worked for the most part. I would’ve enjoyed a multiple issue fight instead of it being rap’d up in one issue. But damn did Silver Surfer get body’d. lil fella had no chance. But after this series I can confidently say that Thanos is my favorite marvel character. I want marvel to give Corvus Glaive his own series but whatever. I’m guessing this series ends before IW but it should pick back up. If not I’m reading the new Thor series. Or Venom. Can’t decide!

Traditionally the surfer is so Noble that the penance stare might not work on him. He's worked for galactus but never out of anything but wanting to spare lives. Even in this he spares hulk. But the stare is one of those things that's lost it's own rules and every writer writes difrently now. (Plus maybe Frank's works differently than Danny's)

i don't know i'm aware of his awareness but that's not totally unique to the surfer and it's not like others with such an ability don't get suprised ( captain mar-vell and marvel), all the heralds, thanos ect. And it's not like surfer ever was a match for thanos so that's already a disadvantage from that point of view; but i thing the fight really highlights is that though the surfer is definitely a warrior historically he's not much of a fighter at least not in the way thanos is. like he's a tacition not a strategist

Him being an old 616 hulk is wrong af considering the prime hulk fought maestro stopping the future imperfect timeline from happening in 616. It'll make more sense if this was the ultimates verse since hulk gets his beads at a young age.

the cosmic king wrong it is, when old thanos was explaining and telling younger thanos his achievements there was literally a panel with thanos vs maestro. The real maestro watch the first video of this series made by dope its shown for a few seconds but their fight wasnt full page worthy just small panel worthy. I'm sure maestro at first retaliated but thanos was already gaining power and gamma radiation doesn't affect thanos so that theory out the window, the reason why maestro is pretty much braindead is because the banner persona isn't really there anymore hulk can live long but not banner its like his mind became mush and no maestro isn't smarter he just doesn't give a fuck so he'll kill you straight up and take your wife there's nothing you can do about it and he knows that. Finally chains of cytterak (I forgot how to spell it) can't be broken otherwise when frank caught younger thanos, that thanos would've freed himself so during those million years maestro was shackled, just think about a million years being shackled.
