I wish I had a place like that to get rocks here! well I do, it's a nursery but they literally charge an arm and a leg for rocks. I got a couple 5gal buckets of Mexican black rocks there like you have in this tank and it was around $60! they don't sell much rock there that I see.....

But I seem to recall a video about gravel vac and that you need to lift every ornament and vac underneath where the gunk has collected. I am really intrigued about how you will keep this tank clean?

(I just recalled that the largest tank I have ever cleaned was a sea lion enclosure at my country’s largest zoo. 50 pounds of fish a day leaves some gunk...)

I love the landscaping on this tank! It's great to see the loaches use the rocks for hiding and swimming through. I hope you keep the fish to this smaller size so we can see a whole community interacting instead of putting in one or two huge fish like most I have seen with these large tanks. Keep up the good work and will keep watching!

Not bad at all. But i feel some more cave could be made for the clowns. They have spaces to hide now but they are eventually going to get massive and have no where to hide. Also I would of done more with the height of the aquarium instead of taking up so much floor space in the tank. Its a perfect scape for schooling open water swimmers, not so much clown loaches. In my opinion at least.

Different thickness can handle different pressure. This is acrylic that is support by 3/4 plywood along the whole bottom and steel below that.

Fake wood, 500 lbs of river rock, honestly thought this was going to look horrible. Looks 100x better then I could have pictured honestly. Has to be the best looking river rock tank i've ever seen. Very well done. You and scuba Jimmy make a good team :)

it got more straight, but we still placed it an an angle to make it look straight and then filled in the bottom of it with rocks.

Put Java Fern and Java Moss on the fallen log, and Anubius and Java Moss on the tree stump. Then add crypts and other SE Asian plants in the tank along the back and middle. Maybe add some dwarf plants around the front and sides. All in all it is looking awesome!

The King of DIY.

He just built a massive 2000 gallon fish tank and fish showroom. He's been taking us on its construction for a few months.

He just filled it in and added his fish this week. His video was the number 1 trending youtube video a couple days ago, which is a really momentous occasion for the fish keeping hobby. Really inspiring to see his idea come to fruition over the last few months.

Lol Joey has rays and wanted to leave a bunch of surface room for them to swim around. Different fish require different things. He's said on several occasions that he's never been very good at aquascaping. Give him a break.... Also, I'm pretty sure he was planning on adding plants and bringing a few more rocks in, so he's not done with it yet.
