The "Aquascaping your African Cichlid Aquarium" video is part of the freshwater, aquascaping category, which contains similar videos like this one.
So I guess we are both onto something.
Hows the maintenance on a setup like this? Looks tricky to vacuum with lots of nooks and flow less areas for debris to build up.
The aquarium has 3 Fluval sea wave pumps that come on for a 15 minutes every hour of daylight. If you can keep the debris in the water column your filters have a chance to action them.
