Interesting tank. Yeah nothing like european companies to make professional looking tanks. On the other hands they are usually much more expensive the in the US.And I've seen many US tanks that look awesome.

Nope, no fish, cuz the exhibition time was too short. Guys from Dennerle didn't want to introduce fish for just two days.

No, they are all glass - acrylic stuff is very vulnerable to scratches, after two or three cleanings the pipe would look like frosted glass, not like glass. Lots of other companies produce similar glassware, beginning from ADA and DoAqua (which is a brand of ADA).

I wish Dennerle products were sold here in the United States. We dont have those tall nano cubes here. Great aquascaping kit, it was really well thought out. I like the clear lily pipe idea. Im assuming the lily pipes are acrylic. He did not mention it though.

Hey, thanks for the comment, I always appreciate feedback from viewers. As for my participation in the conversation with the speaker - I talk (ask questions or add something from my point of view) only when I feel that some parts of the presentation need clarification. Besides, I prefer a "conversation-like" presentation over "presentation-like" presentation - there is more life in the former one, and I can react if something interesting (in my opinion) comes into my mind.

Yes, that's right. What is suprising for me, though, is that the amount of light needed for good plant growth is far smaller than I thought. Like I said, I thought that my 2x18W is far to weak to get good growth - yet, it seems to be even too much, becasue I have deficiencies (and my tank is stocked with plenty of fish - a dozen of grown up Danio kyathit, and another dozen of Danio margaritatus, and I feed the fish at least twice a day, if not three times a day.

Yes, I agree. When the content of aquariums with lots of plants always have to balance the introduction of CO2, lighting and making the optimal amount of mineral nutrients.

Well, I know that some people are getting very good results with garden soil in the substrate, but like I said - I was never successful with that. I always had some nutrients defficiencies, probably the light was too strong. Even now, in my 112 liters aquarium, with a very old substrate (just gravel and lots of mulm), lots of Crypts, and 2x18W (very old ones, so probably burned out already), I still have to add K, and I should be adding some other elements, as the Crypts still don't look good.

"rasteniyae"? You mean plants? You're right that Echinodorus and Aponogeton seem to be forgotten - but it considers mostly the "aquascapers", whereas "normal" hobbyists still use these plants. They are very easy to get in pet shops here in Poland, especially Echinodorus. As for me, I love crypts, and one of my dreams is to make a tank planted only with crypts. Sort of an aquascape, but only with crypts. But there is a lot to learn for me, I think, because until now I don't have much success :/

The suction is far too weak to suck anything bigger than dust particles :) The water agitation is really clever, but the lilly pipe is widely made by other companies, not just Dennerle :) Nevertheless, the idea behind the generel concept of the lilly pipe is really brilliant.

Hello, wanted to ask what rasteniyae now prefer aquarium industry specialists. Because basically use mosses and low-growing plants, some Cryptocoryne, but about Echinodorus and aponogetony completely forgotten. Understandably, they are mainly used in large aquariums, but still there is a dwarf form. What plants do you prefer. I specialize in the crypt.....

I am also impressed with the look of the filter - besides the elegant solution of the water agitation during the dark, I love the vortex pulling in surface debris...but how do they protect the fish from being sucked it.?
