the branches will sink in a couple of days, if left to soak first. larger branches can take weeks or several months, depending on the thickness.

Thanks a TON Lee for the vids showing CA river setups - I've recently followed, loosely, your concepts on a 75g with a small group of rainbow cichlids and two sajica (all juveniles). Hopefully I can get a vid up and see what you think! I envy your setups!!
