all I want to know is how does one find rocks like that...this whole scene has everything to do with such amazing rocks. Absolutely incredible...but way too much maintenance for this simple guy. ;-)

John Zimm it was not awarded. I just sent the final picture to last year's iaplc and I think to aga contest... but that tank was one of my favorite iwagumi I've ever made. it was a pleasure to have it in my living room. check out my Facebook page - there are some pictures as well

I believe its called Seiryu Stone... I have been aquascaping for years but i have never used this stone... I will be though because it is awesome looking.

Those are Seiryu rocks, check Ohko rocks as well.

latest time I used some Oliver Knott Nature Soil - it worked really good. But I think you can use any soil you like :) have fun :)
