Yes- Jayr and Karim are both right. Our usual video format often spans many weeks to collect the footage to the grown-in stage of the tank. Plus we try to make the videos to as high a standard as possible. Also we don't get paid for our videos apart from a relatively small amount from advertising (not enough to cover costs), so we are mostly working for the passion of sharing our creations. We would like to make more :)

If you carefully watch their videos, it's because they film right from the start-up until the tank is fully matured which can take months

Long tanks are so... sexy. I wonder if there are any cons or limitations about them in regards to fish keeping and aquascaping.

Venus Null you're welcome, and yes the limitations are not as bad and you have a lot of options to have emergent growth like in this scape with the moss on the wood which looks so good.
they are probably easier to maintain too, because it's easier to get you hands in there since it's shallow.

shallow depth, so you need to choose your plants carefully, as you don't want to be trimming every week. additionally, shallow depth means you have to be careful with how powerful your lights are. also low volume to space usage, so you keep less fish, plants etc. for how much space it takes in your room compared to normal tanks of the same length. getting you flow right can also be hard, making sure you're getting across the tank whilst not blowing the substrate.
those are all things that can be overcome with good planning though. most fish would prefer long tanks as they get more lateral swim room, and like you said visually they can have a strong impact.
