+Jack smith Thanks Jack. I used to be one of those people that kept a Betta in a bowl. Thought they could just eat roots. Poor guy. This time I did some research. Way more active then I imagined and very inquisitive. Probably just looking for meals, but always comes to the front of the tank when I am watching. I threw in about 10 Cherry Shrimp and found out what hunters Betta are. I am down to 3. He knows where they hid and tries to sneak up on them. I noticed that when I drop a piece of Algae waffer near the shrimp hiding spots, that he actually hides behind some rocks and waits for the remaining 3 to try and eat it. I sunk 4 3/8in diameter pieces for plumping plastic into the substrate and attached moss to the ends. Give the little guys escape hatchs if they get caught out in the open. Hope the last 3 make it. Two males and a female. Did you see the other video in this playlist that shows the full view of the tank. Its my first one in over 20 years.
