Looks like her fins are torn up a bit. If you still have her make sure there's no hard edges on any decorations or anything pointy that she could get snagged on. Hope she's doing well!!! =)

@TheLeftylegend14 Not teeny tiny water areas. A ten gallon tank is just the right size for a beta with the right amount of hiding places. Betas enough room to swim. They don't live in puddles. And a small tank or bowl also isnt compatible with a heater or filter, which, despite the myth, betas need. Do your research.

@TheLeftylegend14 shallow does not = tiny cup. its not natural for them. betta's live in rice fields in asia and during dry seasons they can survive in shallower (but often wide) pools of water. this silly belief is as wrong as the belief that "fish/turtles naturally only grow to the size of their tanks".... its just dumb rumors

Hey what happened to your betta's bottom fin? I have the same thing happening to my female betta in the same place. I'm not sure if it's finrot or something else. I've been changing her water regularly but haven't noticed a difference. Has your betta began to grow its fin back yet?
