oh and by the way the filter is too strong for the betta, maybe try adding some filter sponge to the nozzle

Roopam Middha you should definitely get into the hobby, it's so fun, and addicting, you'll be fine with a betta, and if you get one, you should make a set up video, that would be awesome!

i actually have 6 white clouds and a Betta in my 10 gallons right now and they all seem to be going fine, the only thing I was worried about was the temperature because Bettas need anywhere from 76-82 whilst minnows prefer 68-76 so I tend to keep my temperature at 78

MiAquatics yeah thats one of the reasons i want a betta so if i mess up, the fish doesnt die. I have a large tank (55G) so I want a few fish in it. I am taking my time so I can be sure everything works out. Thanks for all your info and encouragement :)

You should be fine as long as you keep up with the maintenance such as cleaning water, feeding fish, testing water ( i would recommend this but you don't have to). Also, Betta fish are very hardy and can tolerate if you forget to clean the tank for last week or if you forget to buy new food so you have nothing to feed them. If you do some research about their care you should be good to go. Don't forget to cycle the tank

you should definitely get a betta, they are so much fun, I have 4 myself and each and every one of them with a different personality
