Hey guys, sorry I've been gone for a really long time. I just wanna let you all know that I am alive and I've updated the tank. Girl you go through bettas like crazy. Tanks only need maintenance at least once a week or even every two weeks if your tank is heavily planted. And maintenance does not take any longer than at least 30 minutes so you had no excuse for the death of poor little rocket. He was such a beautiful fish too and you let him down. Don't buy fish if you cannot commit to the maintenance and being able to keep them happy.

Dude I understand its sad that the fish died when no one was taking care of it but you need to understand she just finished colleage meaning that she cant really take the time with all the homework and constant tests.

Just Betta all I know is that I myself(before learning the proper way to care for bettas) and many others use to keep bettas in much much worse conditions. And they still would live for even a couple years. and she keeps her in way better conditions with a filter and everything. They may have weak immune systems or be prone to disease if they're from the same breeder

Lana V She has had many videos it's hard to believe "all" of them were brought with disease, she herself said that she neglected the tank. She didn't have time yet she buys another betta.

That's unfair to say to her. You have no way of knowing whether these bettas were already bought with a disease. From the look of the store she buys them at they don't take very good care of them. Half those bettas look sick.

Oh man! Ive had numerous Bettas in my life.
1. Elecrode (electric blue and red
2. Cinnabar (creamy white with blues and reds)
3. Papa Midnight (dark blues and black)
4. Spooky (Black body with flaming orange tail... I miss him most)
5. Captain Barbosa - Half Moon (White with blue speckles)
6. Ghost (my current one who is creamy white, pinks, flecks of blues and reds)

My boyfriend's betta is Reaper (completely black with copper and violet scales)

Hi grill, grats on graduating and finding a job. My last betta died after a bit over a year. I've kept the tank at the end of the desk which made water change difficult so I decided to keep him in a tuper ware and net him into almost same temperature water every day or two. I dedided to do a better job this time so I started the tank again but the new guy only stays at the bottom. I have changed up to 90% of the water over the last day and he seem to be interested in food now but still only at the bottom.

wow :D this is honestly a beautiful betta. it's not perfect but it's definitely a beautiful one. i had bettas for a year, one crowntail, two HMPKs, and two veiltails. :D nice pick!
