I was so inspired by your moss tank, I had my husband go out and pull a large wad of moss off the storage shed out back. I put it on the bottom of a tank I'm not using at the moment. It's only been a day but it looks green and happy. You can't possibly realize what an inspiration you are to us fishy keepers. I need that light, I am in the IKEA site right now. No there not waterproof but mounted right they will make amazing sump lights for growing chaetomorpha algae.

I doubt this is economical.
35€ for a 10 Watt lamp with 4200K and only 550 lumen??? why not choose a LED reflector/PAR lamp of a brandname producer and get more lumen per watt and a wider selection of wattage ? 550 lumen on LED should not cost more than 10€.

Hello! No I'm not using any fertiliser or co2 in the tank, just doing water changes. And the lights are on for 10 hours a day.

With the lights that high up you could plant something in the trickle filter like a ficus cutting or similar. Or salad to feed the shrimp ;)

Those lights will go perfect on the rack I have coming on Monday. Just fit them to the under side of the shelves above the tanks, won’t even be able to see them. Thanks for this find.
