Tank is too small. Bettas need at least 5 gallons. I would suggest doing some research before buying a pet.

for all you people hating on our beta fish tank. we got that tank from petco and followed the instructions of the person who sold it to us and everything that we needed for them. If you still have an issue complain to them

funpetsandkids well many people have complained to them about there animals and products and how they don't give the right information. Some people expect their costumers to do there research before hand.

Do your research before buying a pet, betta need a tank at least 5 times that size, they need a heater, and a low flow filter...
And don't reply saying that stuff is excess, it's necessary... Oh your betta lived 2 years in there, good for you you officially kept a betta for half its lifespan.
