Let me give you an example that will perhaps open your eyes a little more, let's say that for the rest of your life you live in a closet, everything you ever needed was provided to you food, clean water etc. Would you be happy? Yes, you'd survive but after a while you'd grow tired and eventually become depressed of your living conditions and therefore not having a happy life. Whilst this may not be the best of comparisons as obviously humans and Bettas are far from similar it is the best that I can give.
Maybe I'm completely wrong and I'm sure you know far more than I do but I have to say that I disagree with your view and I think most aquarists do too. It just makes me a little sad that you're supporting this level of care which in my opinion is pretty damn well shit when I'm sure you could be using your title as an ichthyologist so much better and ensuring that these fish are kept in better conditions. I've remained fairly civil in this comment and if you get back to me I hope you do too (just a precaution as most people on YouTube are pretty uncivil).

From what I've seen he is extremely ignorant and doesn't listen to any actual constructive criticism even when it is not written aggressively even going as far to delete a comment which contained a lot of positive criticism.
As far as I'm concerned he deserves every bit of hate (to some extent) for not even doing a simple task of doing some basic research.
One of the saddest things is that from what I've seen he clearly has enough money to provide a great home/setup for these guys but he just doesn't value them enough or care for them. He should realise the mistakes he's made and own up to them and then fix them or just rehouse the fish to someone that's going to actually care for them.

Plastic plants which can hurt them
Also the flow can hurt them since it’s so strong .

Its because it is too much space too give them a tank for each one
So they keep them there temporarily but a bigger tank is better

Male bettas are aggressive to other males. The males seeing eachother all the time, on top of the tanks being too small will make them very stressed and flare up all the time. This is just a dumb move on your end.
