You have no clue what you're doing and to attempt to educate others with ignorant knowledgeable is irresponsible. I hope you never own anymore pets as you obviously don't care what their needs actually are.

Not only is your "tank" too small, but you shouldn't put betta fish in bowls anyway. It's stressful for them, and they can jump right out and fall to their death. Also, bettas are tropical fish. They're originally from Thailand, and so they need heaters to be happy. Bettas that are kept in cold water often become lethargic and live short lives.

Idiot this tank is way to small and only filled halfway. I know that your betta is dead now because of this. You should be ashamed. Your light does nothing. Thats fat.

That's not fair keeping it in a tank that small, Bettas like room to swim and explore their surroundings, I know because I have one.

please get your fish a bigger tank, and not a bowl! bowls will ruin your fish balance.

I know that tank is pretty we have all gone through wanting to buy a small tanks/bowls just cuz it's cute, i get it that happens to me all the time, but you just have to say to yourself this tank is for a living, breathing Betta fish, although i like this tank would my Betta.

Yes a 2.5 gallon is the minimum for a betta fish anyway :)! Also your fish is really pretty!! Consider getting him a heater + filter and he'll be even happier :)!!

2.5 is great but right now the tank you have is almost fine but the 2.5 one is better for when its at its stages of growing but smart thinking

2.5 gallon is perfect! You can buy a decent sized 2.5 gallon tank for 16.99$ at petsmart! It's a glass tank, I have about 3 of them and they are great for Bettas! I just did a video about my betta fish room, could you check it out? I love your tank too, it's cute, and your Betta fish is very pretty!

Cool fish and fucking tank, ok ,you dont have enough money right now, so take off the gravel and the plant, put some more water, dont trust people about the dead zone of this type of tanks, put some cover with holes on the top,2 pellets, common, you need to feed you fish at least 7-8 pellets twice a day, good luck!

A 2.5 gallon is perfectly fine. The recommended minimum tank size is actually 2.5 gallons. Also I would recommend feeding your fish 2 pellets in the morning and 2 pellets at night. Beautiful fish and great set up.

Youre almost on point but maybe a bigger tank. I see cheap ones up to 30 dollars or even buy a 5 gal plastic storage for a temp set up i bought one for $4
Fish4Ever
Fish4Ever - 10 years ago
You will need at least a 2.5 gallon tank. Even though bettas live in those really small containers when you buy them, it's not supposed to be permanent. Also, you will need a heater set to 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit. Bettas are tropical fish and love it when the water is warmer. The bigger tank the better!
