My fighting fishes live happily for a year now and i only use a medium plastic tank swith oxygen stones .

it is not moss, it is algae. it is like a toy for a betta and you really don't need it for a betta fish.

that is a nice tank for the marimo, but for the fish its very small and empty. betta betta love having lots of plants, as in theyr natural habitat.

Hi, Betta fish do NOT like a current. Currents are bad for them.

Erina some like a small flow. They can play in it by swimming towards it and riding it down if they choose. Its pretty fun to watch. Has a good tank yet he loves staying closer to the flow of water than the other side with it being much more still.

That doesn't make your statement true about "Current are good for them" Depends on your betta I guess. Never saw one that likes current

I had a Betta fish had currents, she did not got stress (and I know when the betta fish are stress) She was swimming normally and she didn't had any problems or disease and she live about 5 years, So I think currents are bad for male betta fish, which that came be true because the Males have long tails.

Sonic Anime Star betta fish hate current. They love still water, they are used to living in still rice puddles and ponds, etc.
