Would getting tetras and a betta work for this tank?

dont do that. the tank is much to small for tetras. just put a betta fish in it and some shrimp

So I got a Betta and a tetra at first the tetras were scared if the Betta and the Betta was curious. Then they calmed down. I have a problem about the tank. The tank is huge compared to them nothing giving them both personal space. But the when I unplug the filter then plug it back in the filter gurgles and no water comes out of the top then when I tip it over it started working again.

I personally wouldn't the filter on this tank is enough for a betta but idk about the waste load of tetras also they would need a little more space to co-exist I would think.

Your Berta is stressed from his reflection, don't let a mirror stay in the environment for more than 20 mins.

Save him from himself!

I never see Bettas this gorgeous in PetSmart or Petco. I just bought this tank for my new Betta today. I'm excited to get it set up and get him in it.

Hello, you still using that tank? Did you ever encounter any problems with it with your betta?

it did come with the rocks and it came with the lid.

+Kayla Jessup One more question. Did yours come with the rocks to put on top of the filter or did you buy those rocks yourself? Also, it came with that cover for the top of the tank right? I am just trying to see if you have the model 1 or model 2 chi. xD

+Tim C As long as I cleaned the tank every month then no, but the filter is not the best and if you miss one cleaning or don't spot clean through the month it can get built up very fast even with a low waste fish.
