Hello! Ive been wanting to aquascape like this with two different substrates but how would you clean it without both mixing up in the process? Or do the plants help with the filtering process. Thanks :)

I was inspired to do my tank like yours! How do I keep the gravel and sand from mixing when I clean the tank?

I'd use only the white sand, skipping the black. Then all you have to do is have a dedicated scoop, (like a little cat litter scoop?) and occasionally just scoop the gravel back to the sides.

It is a little to small for a beta more like a 5-10 gallon aquarium but otherwise great build

MintChocolate the minimum is 2.5, 5 gallons is "ideal" but a betta fish will thrive in a 2.5.

Tara // not really. 5 gallons would be better. That's generally the recommended minimum. Bettas actually like a lot of space to swim and explore and too small of a tank can make for a very under-stimulated fish.
