eevui22 it can be done if you remove some of the beads from the sack. Then you can put some carbon in a small filter media bag from petsmart or amazon. Only a little fits, but you can do it if you jam it in tight.

halfmoonblu oh and another question, is there enough space to do the three stage filtration system? Like with the sponge, carbon , and then the beads? Or is it too small?

I have this tank I am so new at this stuff and my betta fish had velvet when I brought him had no clue but I fixed that and now he has a hole I have done a lot to help the little man do u have any idea to help I have done salt already he is much bigger now I can make a new video for my channel but seen no point do to I am old school and don't use video filters

Snowbunny1300 Tell u next time Havent heard of life guard but glad your fish is doing better. I use poland spring water in my tanks with some aqueon betta bowl conditioner. I didnt read what was in the tank box, I'm set in my methods lol.

halfmoonblu been trying that for a few weeks now and no help so I got this stuff called life guard he is acting so much better still thought I could pick peps brain to see what they have used thank u for replying back so fast I hope u don't have this problem in this tank as well may I ask if what type of water ur using I think my tap water isn't his friend it's got a high ph not like dead fish high but not good for him and do u use the easy balance the box called for thank you for again for ur opinion on this matter no one seems to help me on my channel so I haven't added a new video

Snowbunny1300 Tell u next time Im not sure what you can do about a hole in his fins other than try using bettafix or melafix (stronger). I would try bettafix and see if it helps and just keep the water warm, and do regular water changes.

Goldfish need a lot more space since they can get large, and they produce a lot of waste. Best to research before buying.

AJ Puck yes i have a top fin heater from pet smart inside. its either 10 or 15 watts, smallest they make

Karina Gaxiola I use a Top Fin heater from Petsmart, it's 10 or 15 watts. Thermometer is also from Petsmart. Good luck!

beautiful fish and tank! the tanks is actually closer to 4.5 gallons, as i believe the dimensions are 10inx10inx10in, correct? (i owned this tank as well at one point)

I change about 30% of the water each week. I completely clean my tanks every 2 months or so.

It's usable but you'll probably get sick of it fast. top falls off, pump is loud, and the motor just dies after a short time.
