+SUnnYY13 my male is mostly blue, but he has some pink in his fins also.

+SUnnYY13 usually the female and male need to be in the breeding tank together for at least 12-24 hours before breeding begins. So I will put her in the tank and keep an eye on them, but they do spend at least one night together. That is why it is important for her to have something to hide in. If nothing is happening in about 48 hrs I will remove the female and continue the conditioning for about a week before trying again. I have noticed that the male will become more aggressive to the female after about 48 hrs, I think he starts to get frustrated. I have had fish that mate after only a few hours in the breeding tank together, but it's rare. I guess some fish just like each other better than others.
