I was watching a couple videos from #lifewithpets about Fry growth it can be stunted by some hormones they secrete in the water so frequent water changes with fry is the key to get them growing well.

Right now I'm moving females into their own tank when they are about to give birth, these tanks have a drip system so they change water all the time, just need to get more of tanks converted over to this drip system. Thanks!

I love what u are doing i learn alot from watching ur video's.one question whats the purpose with all the ram snails in all the tanks.is it good to have them in all the tanks? Just want to no.if its good to have them an how thy breed like crazy i no cos i have them in my tanks.

Excellent Jason I've just ordered my calender and I have a 20g with Cherry red shrimp AAA grade BN plecos with the albino gene and I have reg & fancy guppies in it. Just to add I'm setting up two 125g tanks a 90g + 75g & a 55g

I raise my ph with Bicarb soda, only a pinch in a 5 gal bucket. The fish that are breeding the best and the most colorful would be the ones I would go with. Also everyone wants Java moss!

My PH is ok it only drops because my alkalinity runs out, I think I have a plan of what to do its a combination of a few things. I'll do a video about it next week.

Your guppies are beautiful. I'm really excited about the Spanish Dancers and the Red Leopards. I would choose either of these for breeding for profit. They both seem to be breeding well. Do you plan on shipping your profit guppies? Thanks for sharing.

That black guppies tank took a Loss but it’s some serious snails inside that tank. Maybe taking the tank apart isn’t a bad idea. “But what’s not broken dosent need be fixed” I so think your doing a great job! Keeping smaller fish has always been my weakness. You doing just fine. On the tanks that you have full crush coral bottoms, you may want to see about taking them off the auto water change system and do manual ones, this way you can control how much water is being switched out, otherwise the coral can't do anything if the water is being changed too often ie 50-75% a week, you'll never see a difference in that case :( Anyway, I'd probably bring their water change rate down to at most 25% a week and see if that helps. Are they 10 gallons or 20 gallon tanks? That can tell us a lot as well, doing 20% water change on a 10 gallon you'll replace 2 gallons and on a 20 gallon that would be 4 gallons, which though its the same percentage...can still affect how quickly the crushed coral gets to do its job

Actually all the tanks that are on the drip system have no crushed coral for that very reason. Right now on the crushed coral tank I'm doing 50% water changes every 2 weeks. Thanks for the help!

Hi! Did you try the calcium powder tip I mentioned last time? :) For your albinos, I suggest using a fry catcher box cause the fry come out weak and are easier prey...

Hi Jason. The growing pains seem to be lessening. I've watched allot of guppy videos from allot of tubers and the consistent thing when there is trouble is with adults adjusting to new water conditions especially if they come from a distance. The pattern seems to be they drop fry and die leaving the fry to grow up as if there is no problem. If you decide to put guppies in your profit tank they should be fine with shrimp. Mine don't seem to put a dent in the shrimp population. Hope all is well with you and your family

yeah, juveniles and fry that are shipped distances don't seem to have the same death rates, but I've noticed that full grown breeding adults tend to drop once or twice and then die, then the fry born there grow and thrive

Is there something specific the guppies have to have? All my fish are fine and it's the guppies always dying the very next hour after getting them. The tank is a 46 gallon bowfront and has been running for 7 months.

There are just so many factors to take into consideration. Main thing is testing the water that the fish came in compared to the water in your tank.
