Cleaning a Betta Tank | Fluval Spec III | In this video I demonstrate how I clean my Bettas Tank. It has a heater and filter. It is near the window so it grows a lot of algae. My Bettas name is Jewels, he is a Platinum Betta. This Aquarium is a Fluval Spec III 2.6 U.S. Gallon Fluval Spec III: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009K0ZKAQ/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=onna03-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=B009K0ZKAQ&linkId=bf1dc3a028d0aa7df7b76583c2818dd9 Bettas https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL6uTBIckTWD5rAtEoNxKpX-ME9DqeLUJm Subscribe: http://www.youtube.com/c/Loveofpets Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/loveofpetsLoveofpets3 Disclaimer: This video and discription contains affiliate links, which means that if you click on one of the product links, I'll receive a small commission. BTW, I noticed you don't have your electric cords set up with a drip loop configuration. It is recommended for safety, and you could probably easily do it, just by adhering your power strip to the wall.

since you would be chasing the fish around with a net.when it is in the net some of its slim coat could be damaged.also putting it in a unfamiliar container will also stress it out.
it best to handle fish as little as possible and leave them be where they already fill comfortable.
Mine is Rainbow
With over 35 years owing fish I have made mistakes and learn from them also.
If I changed all his water he would of defiantly died. I hardly do water changes.
My fish live a very long time.
I could of taken him out but choose not too. He died well.
My snails can't get out unlesd they climb the ceiling of the lid. Has not happened yet.
Thanks again.
Bettas are wonderful to own.
Its a fluval

The thermometer may be faulty.
You realise how big plecos grow? even smaller species such as the bristlenose? and catfish? this isn't big enough for a Cory cat either!!
The website for the fish store is www.FINATICSAQUARIUM.COM
They have stunning bettas
I will make sure that is the name and get back to you.
Thanks for the compliment.
It was good to inform viewers to clean the filter medias with fish tank water.
So I was just wondering if there was a reason you filled up the water first, instead of putting the magnets on first? Or maybe that's just the order you remembered to do things in and it wasn't even intentional?
I have all my magnets attached to my tanks.
Do you mean why don't I wait until the water is settled? If so I don't know why. Lol

I'm talking about when you reattach the magnets after cleaning/replacing the water
The dirt settles and gets sucked up by filter
Do you still do dog grooming? Would love to see more videos
And if you ever want to setup and cycle another new tank somewhere down the line you could use the extra sachet to do so, providing that you keep an eye on the orig. tank for nitrite/ammonia spiking and have to do extra water changes until the bacteria count makes up for the loss initially. Just wanted to share : ) Your betta is lovely! There's something about the platinum halfmoon's that truly are stunning ; )
