Everyones just having a slam but all the bettas look fine even the blue and yellow placat wich would be the first to die honnestly i dont see much in the way of ripped or pecked fins and what i do see speaks mostly against thoughs rummy nose tettras as the two ciclid in there look to be maybe some type of ram or other dwarf wich dont tend to go for fins the only nippers i see are the bettas and the tettras wich if it were the bettas it would be much worse than ripped fins plus the absence of females can also mellow them out as theres nothing to fight over and before you all start bashing me for this, i breed bettas mostly placats (koi colours) so yes i know how these fish work

With the right conditions I think it can be done. Even my 2 female bettas fought. Later I made it 6 females and they're perfectly fine.

That looks like a betta nightmare. Confusion over which fish are threats and when they realize it’s a betta male they are right on top of each other, too late to hide , and nowhere to hide no plants, no thick foliage, no females to fight over. Just constant state of attention. Fatigue. The males must be exhausted and I bet you’ve found zero bubble nests.

Ghiboot I'm sure they have fought, more than sure, truly. He is keeping betta fish with paradise fish, cousin species of the same fish family. 4 male bettas wouldn't work in a tank so small with such little cover. I somehow got my 2 males to live peacfully together until one died of columnaris. This was in a 20 gallon tank.

They've fought each other. You need to put them in separate tanks before they end up dead

By looking at their fins, looks like they've fought for quite some time and just got over it due to a whole variety of fish swimming around to keep them busy from fighting.

yes, they do, especially at first. But one becomes dominant and the others don't mess with him. I eventually separated them because they all lost their beautiful flowing fins.

Its hardly ideal but can be done. They're in a 20gallon so theres a good amount of room for each of them, decoration/plants to allow them to hide and other fish to distract them. Similar to overcrowding an african cichlid tank. I've since separated them to allow them to fully grow their long flowing fins back.

I dont know much about betta's but how come there not ripping each other apart. Nice tank I certainly need to research how to introduce betta males in one tank. Ive always wanted a community betta tank.
