Michael David Cilantro happy my ass! In such a short video I could see that this betta may have fin rot. Fin rot is cause by poor water condition, also a betta needs a heater and filter ! So he needs a bigger space to move , it's unhealthy for the fish !!

You litrally must be mentall for doing this too a beta there is not enough space what so ever!!! U need at LEAST a 2 or 2.5 gallon tank to keep a strong healthy living beta!

Actually 5 gallons is the bare minimum for a healthy betta, along with a heater and filter. Anything less than 5 is far too small for a betta and should be considered cruel.

I've had many betta fish before. This is not an adequate tank for a betta.. Although bettas might be able to survive without a filter and heater, it's not the best idea... And also bettas will probably die if their oxygen source is cut off... In the video you even had a cork in the skull.. If your are planning on purchasing another betta, then I would recommend soothing with a filtration and heat system with a partially open top so oxygen can come in... No need to sterilize it because that's probably not why he died...just know that purchasing any animal is a responsibility.. Whether it be a fish or a dog

@RetroTopp, that's why I wanterd to try it because nobody else had tried it before. If you have any good suggestions on how to sterilize it please let me know. I want this to to work without wasting money on fish that will just die hours later.

How are u suppose to sterilise it? An where did u get the skull from? And are bettas ok to live in this??

Jay.D RCADDICTS it is NOT a good tank for a betta. First it could cause damage to the fish, like getting sick, for example this fish has fin rot caused by poor water condition... also a betta needs a heater and a filter , I don't think you have space for that !! He also need spaces to move and hide!

@RettroTopp . I guess I didn't sterilize it good enough because he ended up dying about 6 hours after I put him in the water. LOL OPPS.....I'll make sure I sterilize it thoroughly before I try it again.

jtbizzy is not that you didn't sterilized good. That is not a good tank for a betta or in fact any fish!! Bettas need a heater, a filter , space to swim and hide.. and believe me I don't think you have enough space for even a plant on that thing!!

Have you sterilized and cleaned the bottle obsessively? Vodka has very stong fumes that will hang around and burn the fishy. D: I'm sure you know that though.

Sierra Jackson that is not even the biggest problem. A betta shouldn't be in such a tiny place !! First they need a heater , filter and the space to swim and hide!
