So that was very cool to see. I doubt I will ever have the chance to do that at home. I'm glad you are still a kid at heart and do stuff like this for the rest of us kids out here. Thank you.

I knew that you weren't taking any foolish chances with this. I was thinking that these are just fish geeks (with a video camera) at their finest. As a fish keeper for 46 of my 56 yrs, your channel not only educates but inspires me. Keep at it "kids" I'll be watching

Gotta keep trying new things and having fun. If there is no fun left, it's time to move on! Lots of people worry about the waste etc. this is a 1100 gallon system with auto water change, and massive filtration. Overseen by multiple people. Both myself and Jimmy keep a close eye on this tank and can literally hit a button and do 100% water change if we needed etc. We knew we were doing water changes after, changing filter pads, back flushing the filters etc. So yes, get out there and have some fun! ;)

Is there a "rule of thumb" about how much frozen blood works you can feed to fish? I have a 75 gallon, but am afraid to feed more than 3 cubes at a sitting. I have about 30 fish including cories, loaches, tetras, live bearers. Anybody with ideas please let me Know, thanks.

Hey, I've heard that the freshwater archerfish aren't a gregarious species and don't need schools, but your tank seems to prove otherwise, is this just juvenile behaviour, or will they stay like this for life?

okay guys i need some help on buying repashy, new to the food. I have bristlenose plecos, guppies and cories. I want to feed them some repashy but i do not know which one to get. I have the following options: Solient Green, super green, morning wood and bottom scratcher. I mostly want it for plecos since they are breeding and i want good food for the babies.

TheDrunkenAlcoholic
TheDrunkenAlcoholic - 6 years ago
Super green is great for bristlenose as its for herbivores, but you also have guppies and corydoras so they would like something for omnivoures, if you can I would get bottom scratcher and supergreen and just make a mix of the two, otherwise just bottom scratcher if you only intend to buy 1

This was awesome. One of the most simple and satisfying things about the hobby is feeding fish blood worms. They love it! P.s. if u make an Italian chef kissing fingers sign with your fingers and say "spaghetti!" With an Italian chef accent right as you see a fish slurping up a blood worm it makes it even more fun.

I think you could feed them that a little more often by how fast they went through it I have to feed a little heavy to get food to the bottom of the tank on both of my bigger tanks my sterbai's in the 65 gallon tall tank and my 75 gallon tank the 65 gallon tall tank has dwarf neon rainbows glow Tetras and neon tetras and now some mollies and wag platies the 75 gallon tank has mollies wag platies rasbora's 3 albino pleco's and 5 green aneous Cory's I got all my Cory's when they were very young and it's been a blast watching them but it's hard to get food to the bottom of the tanks because they will go to the bottom and eat after they have ate everything at the top

Other bigger bodied schooling fish work well. Things like Silver dollars, tinfoil barbs, flagtail prochilodus, sometimes rainbowfish. Sometimes giant danios, etc.

They feed from the top each day when the floating pellets go in. They know that blood worms sink and wait for them to fall. In the live stream on Tuesday on the Real Fish Talk channel you can see it.
