I bought both Betta together, I have had them for but a year now. I found the female chases the male when she doesn't like the male. For example the male will chase the female all day to play but if she's not in the mode she turns to attack the male to chase him away.

I sincerely love your set up! I tried keeping a male and female betta together in a 5 gallon and the girl kept attacking him so I had to separate the two. How did you manage such a feat? Did you buy them young? together? or do they just have calm personalities?

I use syphon gravel cleaner to clean the gravel and the fluval filter does the rest.

Only male Betta fish fight so there can be only one male but you can have as many female as you like. With a very large tank may be you can have more then one male but I am not 100% sure on that. I have seen a video on youtube where there is more then few male in one tank.

Its the 19 Litre Tank. 25 litre tank is the same size but taller.

I just set up this tank last night and the water coming out of the fountain is not strong at all. It barely flows into the brown box, let alone flowing all the way through the clear box with the rocks on the top! I did notice it said something in the instructions about it will take a few days for the sides of the filter box to be covered by water...is that what happened with you?

Pretty epic tank, Though jeez that'd make me nervous in my house cause we always knocking up dust and other stuff because of how active our place is that open top would be no good for us but these tanks are always awesome to see. Btw what type of bottom feeders you got?
