I was wondering if you could do a video on how to change a betta fish into a new tank?
First I would just catch the Betta in a small plastic cup and set it aside. Never use a net for catching him or her, nets will damage fins and remove scales. Get the new tank completely ready, temp, decor, PH, and I recommend a little aquarium salt. Then, "float" your fish in the new tank. This means to put the cup or bag they are in on top of the water for at least a good 20 mins, adding a little of the new water every now and then, so they can get used to the temp and PH. Quickly moving them from one tank to another will put a tax on their immune system, shortening their life and opening the door for diseases. Also, one should never keep a Betta in less than one gallon (or at least 3 quarts MINIMUM) of water, they need room to swim and actually feel stress just like people do. Its like being stuck in a tiny cubicle for the fish with the miniscule "Betta bowls" people sell. Look up everything you can online, people often accidentally mistreat their Betta which leads to their lives being short and miserable. Some pros have kept Bettas alive for roughly 9 years (VERY rare in any circumstance, these people are extremely professional) due to careful practice and responsible ownership.
