These guys look normal size to me...When i was 12 yrs old in 1997 I had some giant bettas which looked the size of full grown adult molly fish..those guys are massive in size purely fed on bloodworms..I couldnt see that type of giant bettas anywhere nowadays...those were the days before all these modern filtration and rules abt fishkeeping...i kept them on outdoor cement tub with floating plants and temperature were very cold...and we used to fight them for money as kids...those were very ferocious fighters constantly flaring...I think all those original breeds are gone for good...
