I put my betta in my new tank 20 gallon heavily planted ( anubias and java miss only ) tank. With tankmates of 2 nerite snails 3 coridoras, 8 neon tetra. Since its a big tank no aggression from my betta or whatsoever they get along very well. In 5 gallon my betta is agressive but moving them all in 29 gallon makes the trick work coz there are so much water space. And now the betta wont mind his tank mates and he even hangs out with them every time, the neon are dispersing all the time and not schooling in a sense they dont feel threaten or something. So i guess the bigger the tank the higher the success in community tanking a betta. Up and running for 1 month no nipping up to now.
