My Halloween Tank Tours for 2016! I love how they turned out! They are made of Halloween ornaments from 3 different years, regular aquarium ornaments, and live plants. Which tank is your favourite? Comment down below! I had a little fun with the creepy music. :) I didn't go into too much detail on my live plants or non-Halloween related items on Campbell's tank because it wasn't too long ago he got a full tank tour, and nothing much has changed. Those are really cool! I just got my tank and decorated it about 5 hours ago and I went for the Asian temple theme. I have a lot of fake plants and black gravel. I also got an Asian looking mountain with a painted water fall on it and this cool Asian temple thing but I will defidentaly get some Halloween stuff.

I know it's a bit late to ask but where can u get moss balls?? I am gonna get my betta a 2.5 gallon tank out of a 5 gal cause I notice that she doesn't swim so I'm getting her a smaller tank but where can u get moss balls?

I've gotten one of my moss balls from PetSmart, and one from a local business. Most places that sell fish and other live plants should carry them. I know PetSmart always has some, though :)

Your tanks are all so amazing with how you theme them with the season! I don't really get seasonal decorations since I like to be able to use all of them all year round and less room is needed to keep all of them. Beautiful tanks and fish!

+Ellen Jarrard Thank you! You have a huge point towards the year-round-space thing, I have two whole shelves of my aquarium stands dedicated to seasonal ornaments. I have Halloween and Christmas accumulated from a few years now, so it adds up! They even started putting out Valentine's Day ornaments, and of course, I could say no to those either! :)

Do NOT use the orange, spiky ornament. It destroyed my betta's fins. :(

+Danny Hanny It is pretty spiky. I can only use it for a couple of my bettas, but not for others. If I know my betta likes to swim or lie in plants, I can't use it. :/

Poor fish Fish are NOT decoration. Please stop this. To much movement in the water, not a single real plant.

+Re. Raaun You must have not watched to the end of the video before commenting. I'll clear things up then. Every one of my tanks has a live plant in them. One of them didn't have a single FAKE plant, actually. Although, live plants are not a requirement, they are a preference- silk/smooth plants are what are required. Also, there is no water movement besides the very lowest flow of my filter, which filters are required for a betta. It is my bettas that are able to tell me whether there is too much current, and they can be right next to my filter and not experience struggles. Thanks for your concern though. :)

Really love Campbell's setup! I have that tall wispy silk plant from topfin as well for one of my betta. :) It's the only fake plant I have so far, I couldn't resist 'cause it's so pretty!

+Scorch1 Thanks! It really depends on where you buy from and how much you want to go above the basic needs. In Canadian dollars, it can be around $80, but you could easily spend over $100 if you got carried away. Some pet stores sell tanks and ornaments much cheaper than others, and it also depends on the quality/brand you buy. :)

+boo pie They unfortunately got torn up by an ornament I thought was safe. It was originally a little rough but I had sanded it down, but it quickly proved that it still wasn't smooth enough. After another go at sanding, his fins are growing back quite nicely.

+Marisa's Betta Fish Yep, the floating one. It was a little bumpy on the inside, and I had sanded it a little bit, but it wasn't enough. I went back later and made it perfectly smooth - and luckily Campbell's fins haven't gotten any worse since I fixed that, so I know for sure - thankfully - he's not stressed! :)

+Marisa's Betta Fish Thanks! He's not fin nipping, but they did unfortunately get torn up by a log ornament I had originally thought was safe. They're healing and growing back now that I've taken the ornament out. I sanded it down with sandpaper and now it's much smoother :) Horatio has it in his tank now and it isn't causing any more damage!

Wow they look fantastic! I can't even pick a favorite out of them all because each one is unique and well planned out! You're right, the glowing pumpkin is too cool. I love how you put the bottom tank light inside and that was a brilliant idea! :) You make me want to run out and buy stuff to decorate my aquarium with.....except I had to take it down recently to set up a spare tank for my hamster. But hopefully in future! These tanks are very inspiring!
