@frostwolf I like bigger gravel, but I find that fish waste gets stuck in the cracks.

It's better to have larger stones instead of sand or loose gravel because they are easier to clean and dont hide waste. The water does need to be about 73-78 degrees fahrenheit. Also, get a thermometer and check the amonia levels frequently, and dont forget to treat the water everytime you clean it! :)
