hmm I was told if you touch the fish with your hands the fish would be stressed out, I do fishing a lot and sometimes we catch the minnows with our hands, and we scoop them up to show people, and the next day they are bellys up///dead. one time my little brother was running with some bullheads/little sucker fish, and he fell on the cement and all three scattered everywhere, and he picked them all up and kept them over night, and they died. anyway, what I do is scoop him up with a jar.

It could be possible so you need to be very careful. I prefer doing it with my hands it's more delicate but some people complains about that too. Thanks for your comment!
