Actually they need much space to fit filter and heater , they are living beings not disposable decorations for your cruel entertainment. by the way 2.5gallon tank is minimum for one betta and it isn't that big comparing to 10,20 or 30 gallon tanks.

Do u seriously think that u take good care of your betta? U should never keep bettas in such small containers, they need a properly setup aquarium, with a heater (if in cold climate), natural substrate, live plants, and natural decor ONLY!!! Putting unnatural decor only stresses them, and they won't be happy. Also u must never change all the water at once, your supposed to change a small amount once a week, pls stop giving ppl bad advice that is unnessary and can harm/kill their pet

Thank you I needed that advice to add live plants to my fish tank. I have a water heater and a filter for my betta and he blows bubble nests almost all the time so my little buddy is a very happy little redneck!!!

OMG please please, to change all the water is really a big stress for the fishes. And also it kills all the bacteria that they need and they had before in the water!!!
