These two male bettas live together comfortably. Catuion: 2 Male bettas in general will fight with each other in one tank. I have observed these two male bettas have less hostile temperament so I tried it a few days checking on them constantly. So far they can live together peacefully. via YouTube Capture

Simple answer if you betta is in a large tank two males might be able to live or there both just bit active so they don't usualy flair so if you want males to live together get two clear plastic cups put them close to each other and if they flair then there active if they don't not active

Yes as long has there are many hiding spots and plants so if one of them gets stressed out, they can run away and hide

While this is absolutely stunning, I am not going to tell you to separate them, but maybe add a disclaimer to "not try this at home" as this is an extremely rare case and shouldn't be considered something easy to do... A lot of beginners will just see this as an example and throw two males together and wonder why they killed each other :/

from what ive seen from various videos with 2 or more male bettas together, i think space is probably the key. if they feel squished together in a little tank.....probably anything smaller than a 20 gallon, they will fight. im not personally experienced with this myself but thats the only thing i can figure as to why they dont fight.

Actually, with enough space and foliage, males get along fine. It's when you try to cram two together in a tiny bowl that they fight. In the wild, bettas live together in football sized rice paddy fields. It wouldn't make evolutionary sense for them to always fight.
