Would an average betta like the one in the video fit in a 5 gallon with a little African dwarf frog? Or would the betta kill him?

what kind of algae eaters do you recommend for a 10 gallon Betta fish community tank. Tank has several plants , eco complete, currently I'm not looking to upgrade to anything bigger so I'm looking for an algae eater that won't grow too much. I really need help finding a compatible algae eater.

Your best bet is an oto cat. Great fish. I'd recommend a trio for a ten, but if you're upgrading, the more the merrier for this schooling fish. They grow to about an inch of size. If they run out of algae, give them a piece of cucumber with a weight or rock tied to it.

What's the secret on keeping the driftwood under water.
I have a stick in my tank tied to a rock been there a year it will still float if I cut the fish line.

they can't put two males in the same tank, or they fight to the death. they place the Bettas close together so their tails flare up. it's a shame that they treat the fish like that

Question for any fish tank people....I've got a new 50 gallon tank, just set it up yesterday. It has a few plants and a new piece of driftwood that has started releasing tannins in the water (No worries there, a few water changes will take care of that)

Trying to decide what's best though, I keep reading about cycling a tank by getting a few hardier fish to help produce ammonia for beneficial bacteria. Any thoughts? Should I do the water changes to solve the tannin issue first, or should I get a few fish?

+Chance Bostick Get snails. they won't break your heart as bad if they don't survive the cycle and they help to cycle the tank just like any other creature. I like Rams horn snails and trumpet snails best. oh and get them some java moss. they love it and it will grow and spread for you like no other.
