He had a bubble nest you should have poured it in with him.This is a good idea but not good for bettas and other fish. 1: it is two small, they need at least 2.5 gallons. 2: bettas breath air from the surface of the water but they are not so good swimmers, so they need a tank that is longer than it is tall.3: they also need a good hiding spot so they at home as if they where able to hide from there enemies. So if that is not enough to convince you that this is a bad tank you should not have fish.

You're son is adorable and that is an interesting tank. It maybe be good for a temp vacation home for the fish. Try giving 2.5 gallons a shot tho! I personally enjoy it you don't have to change that every 2 days. Maybe like 100% a week or 50% twice a week for 2.5. The bigger the tank, the more stable and less changes :-)

This tank is way 2 small betta fish like to swim and need at least a 2.5 gallon tank and if ur not willing to clean a tank why get the fish in the first place I'm not trying to hate I'm just worried ant the fish

Hi :) I just purchased a Fun Fish Tank also. How many drops/mL's of stress coat + do you use for this specific tank? The conversion is giving me a headache, lol ;) Also, how often do you gravity clean your tank? How much water do you use to gravity clean for each cleaning? Have you found it necessary to manually hand wash the tank as yet? Thank you so much for your help. Great video :D

+I'm WWinning Yeah using a net is fine. Some nets are finer and softer than others but any net should be fine. Never had any scale injuries when using regular nets. You can find all types of netting for sale online either through amazon or pet stores. I like the net that acts like a cup because you can scoop up the fish and water at the same time this causes less damage, but any net should be fine! I've raised betta's all my life so if you have any other question feel free to ask.

+Adventure Time With Alex One more quick question: When you are aging your 1 gallon water jug, do you add the 0.5 mL of stress coat initially to the gallon of water, and then let it age for 24 hours? Or do you add the Stess Coat just right before you pour? Thank you :D

+I'm WWinning I usually age my water in a 1 gallon water jug and use about .5 ML of stress coat. Your measurements doesn't have to be right on. I'd never had trouble if too much was added. I usually add water every 3-5 days to flush out the old water. I pour about half a gallon or more into the tank to flush as much junk out as possible. If it's too dirty I will clean the whole tank and add new aged water. So yes you should clean the whole tank at least once or twice a month. The gravity flush doesn't get rid of all the junk on the bottom of the tank so cleaning the whole tank as much as you can will be the best!

True. I don't really like this fish tank. I mean, not to be a hater at all, but if you aren't willing to clean a fish tank, then don't buy a fish. Same with all pets.

We got a fish a betta fish and we got him 2015 and he is still alive!!!!!! Omg and those fish usually last for 3 months

Btw we got him June 11 2015

Because that's when my hamster died we were going to get more food for my hamster at pet smart and then we got that fish the next day my hamster died!:(

Please don't keep a fish in that, it's way too small, betta fish need at least 2.5 gallons of space for proper waste dilution and swimming space. They are also tropical fish that need heaters to stay healthy.
