Her tank mate is a gold Inca "Mystery" snail. I've only seen her nip at him once. Generally, she doesn't pay any attention to him.
As a cat person (new to fish keeping), I really appreciated the "station identification break" when you cut to the kitty's activities. Hilarious!

If you want to completely eliminate the risk, don't have a sorority tank at all. Imo, the well-being of the animals comes before our wants, and I know everyone wants to see all the pretty fish in one big tank. Unpopular opinion, but tell me I'm wrong.
But looking through the thumbnail, females will not do bad things if they have a odd number of fish.
If you have equal females they will gang up on each other

I just lost the last of the girls from my sorority. Every single one died earlier than they should have, even with me splitting them up. I gave them beyond perfect care. I did everything right and 8 months in realized the lack of aggression was stress, not because they were okay. That is happening here, too. Those girls are not happy with each other, they have been shut down out of fear. Negative reinforcement or dominance training in dogs has the same effect. It may look like its working or they're calm, but that is not the case.
Please reconsider sororities, they are, flat out, abuse.
Just need to pay attention to the focusing -- seemed to lose it on occasion and made it hard to see and watch.

Your male blue and white one is so handsome! Did you decide on a name? I still vote blueberry :)
Where are you from? I knew you had an accent but I cant place it... my grandmother is from England... I think people who migrate are so brave! I am a weenie... I dont go out much, just hang out with my pets and kids... so I cant imagine leaving the country!
Experts advice breeding Bettas once around every 7 months, but bettas can breed once every 10 days which is unadvised to test, so I prefer once each month or two months.
I love your videos!! CPK!
Haha the thumbnail is awesome!
Keep up the good work and thumbs up!

Although sororities can work out for years and the fish can all be active and healthy I think Alex just means it isn't necessary nor natural though he/she put it harshly.
Sororities are a death trap, it will fail, it is a fact.
Female will kill each other, what you are doing is stressing this betta, they are more likely to get sick and infections are common.
If you need to separate the fish, to get "time out" it means is not compatible with others!
This is only good for the owner, you are not taking into consideration the fish.
One question:CreativePetKeeping have you ever thought of making slime? If so, I have a video on it! Go check it out!
