Everything you need to know about betta fish care! VIDEO TOUR (Find what you're interested in knowing about): TANK SIZE: 2:40 WATER QUALITY/WATER CHANGES: 3:58 FILTER AND HEATER: 5:33 SUBSTRATE: 6:24 DECOR: 6:46 LIGHTING: 7:21 HOOD: 7:47 FEEDING: 8:00 * THE CLIP CUTS OFF BUT I MEANT TO SAY VERY LIMITED DIET* TANK MATES: 8:37 SORRY I LOOK SOOOOO MESSY THIS WAS AT 2/3AM AFTER A LONG CRAZY DAY my makeup aint about to stay flawless for 12+ hours :\\\
Or am I better of just trying to get some bottom feeder fish like suggested in this video plus a snail. and doing the same thing. My preferred setup would be 1 male, 1 female, plus a snail or two. But looking for info before I start looking for other fish for the tank. The tank is 10 gallon. Has filter, heater, 2 moss balls and an almond leaf.
The pet store would be willing to return the fish if they don't work out, So if they start fighting I would separate and return.
As for them mating, that wouldn't necessarily be something I'm trying to get them to do, but if it came up would be interested in trying to accomplish it. I have room and money to get spare tanks if needed in the future. My pet store would also accept the babies, it's not a chain store, but a privately owned store.

I have a few comments that can help you. Start to use prop placement then vendors will send you products. You must ask, it's as simple as asking viewers to tell you their story or send you their products for review and viewers. :)
Hope that helps and was bit taken offensively. I will skip forward to newer vids to see if your already doing it... Much love
He hopped out of that too...

I am currently cycling my brand new tank and was told that in about 2 weeks it should be ok for my Betta. So I really don't want to keep it in that small cup for 2 weeks. Hence why I am thinking of leaving him in the bowl I cleaned till then.
They are trivial beings living the equivalent trivial being lifestyle.
Your video is amongst the few that I have been watching to care for my future fish.
That's all I care about. Not the lighting, not your looks, not your camera... Only the information you have to offer. Stop worrying, thanks for your opinions on betas. That's all I came here to see.

(I don't have a beta yet aaa)
No wonder he doesn’t swim around a lot, boi is probably freezing lol
Ps it's a 20 gallon tank
I want a tank that wont leak or is cheaply made
I would like to get a filter that wont suck him up and kill him
I was surprised with a betta fish last night as a birthday present.
As happy as I am to have a new pet, there so much responsibility that goes into it.
Since he/she is in my care I want to give him a long lasting/ comfortable as possible life.
Please respond as soon as possible.
I have looked at plenty of online kits, but some leak others fish get stuck in filters :'(
I'm willing to pay for everything separately
he lived for a really long time though, he just recently passed away
Thank you for the beta info.
jk lol
I'm curious whether or not I'm over doing it. My Beta fish is in a 5 gallon glass rectangular tank. He has a medium sized rock structure. I dont do plastic. Acrylic is my friend. And he has a bubble wall in the back, that can light up, but between that light, on top of the light at the top, and a medium heater? His water gets too hot. I keep his temperature between 72 And 82 degrees Fahrenheit. Usually 78.4 F. And I turn off his bubble lights when it gets too hot. Pop in a couple ice cubes when it gets too hot. All his decorations get scalded before put into the tank. I get him only blue aesthetic backgrounds and pebbles. The color RED is a no! Stressed them out. I do betta water conditioner, water dechlorinater, stress zyme, stress coat, ammonia remover, water clarifyer, bacteria supplement, and aquarium salt. He has a moss ball and a snail buddy. A fake acrylic plant, and a fake anemone, and a acrylic leaf hammock, you pretty much stuck a leaf lead to the side, and they lay on it. I feed him 2 pellets at 10:30 on the dot. Not only does he have a "in the water" thermometer, he has one on the glass too. His heater glows red when it need a to be warmer, and green when it's good. My net, cArrier tank, water pump, pack of cartidges for the filter, and my net and holder cups for water changes. All my stuff together costed roughly 200$ because I was extra though. Taylor, or anyone else here, do you think I'm doing a good job with my betta?
I have a half-Moon double-tail male in a 5 gallon.
No, I'm not breeding if this is something you needed to know.
What kind of brand or etc
Also
My betta stays low, he never swims the surface. Is that weird ?
lol I laughed so hard
It was fish heaven..
But unfortunately when we moved ...I BROKE MY TANK and me and my mom didnt have much money at all.. so we had to settle for a 5 gallon bucket
When we did get a tank we put in the water purifier we waited about an hour
But i forgot to shake the purifier bottle
All
All my beautiful fish I had died
I will never forget to shake the bottle again
Now though after a few years with mostly guppies here and their I now have a 10 gallon with a beautiful make betta, 2 male and female african dwarf frogs, 3 guppies 2 females one male and one cute little platy
I plan on upgrading soon and hopefully breeding my ADFs for my moms room and she can have this tank
Watches video
Oh
I should fix that
so does that mean I have to change the temperature of the heater or just let it change by its self like you said or just don't put a heater in
R.I.P Sid, I will always love you.
I used to have them and they just breed a lot so i ended up with like 180 fish no joke!
Edit:soz didn't finish the vid
Gallon tank with a filter and light for $5
