you don't need an air pump betta's don't like currents that the air pump makes,the came from thialand in stagnent rice FIELDS not puddles and a lot don't like a lot of movement.so can't survive in the movement at all.it's best to have little to no current at all.

Awe so cute! I have that aquarium too. I like the pink gravel in yrs, lol. ;] I can't tell from the video, but just so you know, if your betta is a girl then you might be able to get away with turning the filter on because their fins aren't in the way. :D

My fish is in a 5.5 g tank but i just got it today and its not doing anything i put plants every where in there and rocks and i even gave it brine shrimp

dont need a filter yet. rocks are NOT expensive. you dont need to have decorations, the fish doesnt care. buy fake plants, only about 4 dollars each. and the rock are about 5 dollars. so you would only be spending about 30 dollars. which still isnt a lot. again, dont be cheap.

you cant play with a fish, young one. the question is, why not provide MORE space? 4 gallons is still kind of small. a 10 gallon is only 13 dollars. which i give him the 10 gallon when he gets bigger. just dont be cheap, 4 gallons are more expensive because smaller tanks are semi-rare.

1.Who Said I was Trying to Look Cool? 2.If you cant save up 16 dollars to buy a frickin 5 gallon tank, (13 dollars for a 10 gallon), then you have some problems, and probably shouldnt even own animals. 3.shes a FISH. they SWIM. that doesnt mean she is happy. 4.I did read it, im just pissed you havent already switched, for the sake of your pet.

haha i just got a 5 gallon tank for mine too, his name is hades and he has a pet snail named captain franklin, 3 ghost shrimp (one is pregnant) and 2 frogs named waffles and flapjack

My Betta fish is named Gil De Ronfer. I just got him yesterday. I've got him in a 1 gallon bowel right now, and will soon be upgrading it to a 5 gallon tank. :)
