Love this, but please DO NOT keep 2 females in a 10 gallon! The minimum for a sorority is 5. Eventually, they will kill each other! If you can't afford another tank, consider getting or making a divider.

You have great care for your bettas and they look very happy and healthy. Everything is being filtered right, feed daily, and good sized tanks, but the items inside your tanks are not the best. The plants aren't natural colors nor is the substrate. I'm sure your fish are fine but if I was your fish, I'd be uncomfortable with the crazy colors, they are kinda blinding. Otherwise you are doing great, if you choose to use those thing that is your choice. Great channel!

You can put a small filter sponge on the filter so that your fishes fins won't get stuck, I recommend you put it back in the 2.5 gallon :^) BTW it only costs like 2 or 3 dollars

hi! i recently got a ten gallon for my male betta fish, i do not wish to get a filter, i am aware that many water changes will be needed but i would like to know how to maintain my tank? currently a heater is not needed since the temp in my house always stays in the 70-80 degree F i am planning to get a gravel syphon so i can clean the tank out

I have a couple questions about owning a beta fish, and I really hope you reply cause I need help!

1.) If a I get one male beta fish, can I keep it in a 1 gallons tank?

2.) If I have a 1 gallon tank, do I have to have a filter, and heater?

3.) If not a 1 gallon tank, which one would you recommend the most? Again, I only want one betta, so which tank would be best? Send a link if you don't agree with the 1 gallon.

+HeyItsEmily Hi! Some people say that a 1 gallon will be to small.... BUT I always had my bettas in 1 gallons and they are fine! yes! You will need like a small watt heater! 7.5 will work! no filter! if you want a larger tank you could get a 2.5 gallon!!

For ur tank without the Gravel u should get a Plecostumus ( I think that is how its spelled) they live for a Loooong time and eats all the Allege and Droppings on the ground

but pleco get two feet long... way to small of a tank for one. you also need driftwood and a very strong filter. I have one in my 40 gallon and he is 7 inches and has a 75 gallon filter.

Fyi that filter in the 10-Gallon Tank is much too small! The water is murky from under-filtration, you need to fix it to prolong the life of your fish! If you need an affordable filter for a 10-Gallon I suggest the Tetra Whisper 10i, it will run you $20.00 but it will be worth it!

Love the video and I've always been wondering what happended to your black moor goldfish. sorry for your loss, he's in a better place. Also I want more fishie videos!!! Btw your 10 gallon fish tank filter is way too small!!! Did you cycle your tank?? Did you check for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph level? If you did not you should. Its probably the reason why your tertras died. If the filter is too small it wont filter out the water fast enough which means more ammonia build up which leads so fish death. I suggest you should study about nitrite,nitrate,ammonia,and ph if you don't know about it. its essential for all fish keepers to know

+AbbysAnimalCare IK! Don't worry! The filter cartage was from a already cycle tank that had been cycled for a while! So all the natural bacteria was there!! And I have a "fast cycle conditioner"!! It works great!! Thanks!

Ummmm.... No tank can cyle in 1-3 days! A 2.5 Gallon tank takes roughly 1 to 2 weeks to cylcle

Don't worry! Ik the filter is to small! But bettas don't like a heavy water flow! The teatras where my brothers and he had 6 and they past for other reasons... I did not want these to past so I took them! It had Nothing to do with ammonium or ph... Thank you for the recommendations! I do know a lot about the levels of the required levels! Thanks! They are all fine!!!
