I just added a betta to my tank with 4 guppies and 2 Dalmatian Mollies. Nothing bad has happened only some short chasing. Is this good?

Chloe Scott careful male guppies may look big but they aren't and bettas can swallow bigger things than you think if that Betta grabs your guppy by the tail in a few hours you'll be seeing your guppies head in a bettas mouth.

+Chloe Scott since they have some hiding places where they can escape, yes..... the beta will not bother chasing them everywhere.. as soon as guppy swims out of its sight to hide somewhere, the betta will give up. its a fish, not a lion :D good luck!

Wesley Moreira same. that's why I don't buy guppies for my Betta fish. I recently bought 3 tetras and I hasn't seen any problems so far. :)

I have had 3 of my betta fish for almost 9 months :) They all are really active, but my blue betta is actually quite lazy xD

My betta is with my guppies it takes time for them to know tht the guppies aren't other bettas and btw guppies need and air stone and did the betta bite his tail off

I hope they get along, what I know is that bettas cant be with fish that have long fins or look like bettas, as long as the guppies have short fins and the betta is added to a tank last then the betta wont think the fish are intruders since the fish are there 1st

NO guppies are not compatible. Neon tetras and a pleco are fine but make sure you get one that won't grow out of control.
