Sir di mo na ba nilalagyan ng harang kada pair i mean divider pag na select mo na po sila ? Kasi may success eggs na ko waiting na lang for hatching kaso yung male ko halos ubos na buntot. Ginawa ko kasi pinag pair ko lang sila using chimney then after 24 hrs nag build na ng nest yung mail then pinakawalan ko na sa chimney yung fem then after 24 hrs wala pa ko napansin na eggs kaya nag extend pa ako ng another 24hrs after that success naman eggs.

Hi Dexter
I'm not betta expert but I've been breeding bettas a while now and I've found best way to condition pairs is to feed heavily on live high protein foods like mosquito larva and daphnia. Mosquito larve easy to culture u can google or find on youtube
Black worms and tubifex feed also daily but often
Good high protein pellets are fed in morning and small amounts to be eaten out quickly to not foul water. Flare the pairs to their mates about 15mins twice daily then card of males but let females see other females uncarded as jarred females become aggressive and will beat up males as with plakat strains. Rule of thumb is to have males bigger length wise longer than females as its easier to embrace females as they get fat with eggs
Also for growing out males fry put in atleast 2litre to gallon (square based containers best) with regular clean water live foods and ial extract leaves. Plastic is best for them as it holds temperature whilst glass quick changes with ambient temperature. You should also culture infusoria now so u have ready to feed newly free swimming fry. Best of luck.
